Quantrix minimizes data collection to only what is strictly necessary to conduct technical correspondence.
Last updated 2026.09.29
QUANTRIX operates as an independent technology invention studio. We believe in privacy by architecture, not merely privacy by consent checkboxes. Our public web application is built to convey technical research, systems documentation, and laboratory observations without intrusive surveillance.
This document describes the exact data collection, processing, and retention practices currently implemented across this repository.
We do not collect personal data from visitors passively browsing our public website. We collect information only when explicitly submitted by you through our Problem Intake form at /contact.
The information collected through the contact intake comprises:
No Public Database: This website frontend does not connect to a public client-side database. Contact form submissions are validated server-side using secure Next.js Server Actions with strict rate-limiting and payload constraints.
Data Retention: Inbound technical correspondence is retained solely for the period required to evaluate technical feasibility, respond to engineering inquiries, and determine whether a collaborative research engagement is viable. We do not sell, rent, or lease submitted contact data to third parties.
The website runs on containerized production hosting infrastructure. Server access logs (such as originating IP address, HTTP user-agent, and requested URI) are processed transiently by edge infrastructure for DDoS mitigation, load balancing, and operational routing.
We do not embed third-party analytics platforms (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), third-party font networks, or external social media trackers.
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as under the European General Data Protection Regulation or California Consumer Privacy Act), you may possess statutory rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
All transit to and from the Quantrix website is encrypted using modern TLS (HTTPS). We enforce strict HTTP response headers including Content-Security-Policy (CSP), Strict-Transport-Security (HSTS), X-Content-Type-Options (nosniff), and X-Frame-Options (DENY).
Server-side inputs are sanitized and restricted by size, type, and submission frequency to prevent injection attacks and denial-of-service attempts.
If you have questions regarding this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise data rights regarding a prior submission, please reach out via our contact intake.
